Privacy policy
Effective Date: October 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Docstara collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website, membership, forms, downloads, and related services.
1. Information you provide
Depending on how you use Docstara, you may provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, brokerage or company name, team size, messages, beta feedback, testimonial information and permissions, and other information you choose to submit.
When you create or use a membership, Wix and its payment, membership, and account services may process account, order, payment, billing, and membership information. Docstara may receive information needed to provide and manage your membership, such as membership status, plan, transaction status, and billing-cycle information. Docstara's website does not intentionally store full payment-card numbers in its own frontend code.
2. Information collected automatically
Docstara uses Wix analytics and a limited first-party event log to understand website traffic, product usage, and important customer-flow events. This may include the page or path viewed, referring page, campaign parameters such as UTM values, anonymous visitor and session identifiers, selected System identifiers, key button or link clicks, successful form-submission events, checkout-start events, membership-confirmation events, login-success events, and use of member pages or Systems.
The first-party event log is designed not to store the contents of submitted forms, the email address entered into a form, client information, or property information.
3. Browser storage
Docstara uses browser storage for functions such as member authentication, secure login state, anonymous analytics identifiers, session identifiers, campaign attribution, and checkout-flow information. Some of this information may persist in your browser so that login or site functionality can continue between visits. You can clear browser storage through your browser settings, although doing so may sign you out or reset site preferences and attribution information.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the Services, authenticate members, provide access to Systems, process and manage memberships, deliver requested resources, respond to support and brokerage inquiries, administer beta testing, record testimonial permissions, understand product usage, diagnose problems, improve Docstara, and send communications where permitted by law.
5. Docstara systems and third-party AI platforms
Docstara Systems are designed to be copied into an AI platform selected by the member, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. Information that you enter directly into an external AI platform is handled by that provider under its own terms, privacy policy, settings, and account configuration. Merely opening or using a Docstara System on this website does not cause Docstara's first-party analytics log to collect the property or client information you later enter into your AI platform.
6. Service providers
Docstara relies on service providers to operate parts of the Services. These may include Wix for website hosting, authentication, membership management, forms, analytics, payments, and email-related functionality. Those providers may process information as needed to provide their services and are subject to their own contractual and privacy obligations.
7. Email and marketing choices
When a form specifically asks for consent to receive marketing or informational email, we use that consent for the stated purpose. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe method provided in the message.
Submitting a support, brokerage, beta-feedback, or similar operational form allows us to use the information to respond to or administer that request. It does not by itself authorize unrelated marketing where separate consent is required.
8. Advertising and third-party tracking
At the effective date of this Policy, Docstara does not have Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads conversion tags, or other third-party advertising pixels installed on the site. If we later add advertising or cross-site tracking technologies, we will review the related disclosures and consent or opt-out requirements before deployment and update this Policy as appropriate.
9. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide the Services, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and protect the security and integrity of the Services. Different categories of information may be kept for different periods.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No website, browser-storage method, network transmission, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Your choices and privacy rights
You may contact us to ask about information associated with you, request correction or deletion where appropriate, or raise a privacy question. Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may have additional rights regarding access, deletion, correction, or certain uses or disclosures of personal information.
You can also manage browser storage through your browser and unsubscribe from marketing email using the link or method provided in the message.
12. Children
Docstara is intended for real estate professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly design the Services to collect personal information from children under 13.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Docstara changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
